What is IAS Examination:-
IAS (Indian Administrative Service) or UPSC CSE is conducted by Union Public Service Commission for recruiting candidates for civil services like IPS, IAS, IFS, etc. It is the toughest exam in India. UPSC IAS exam is conducted in three levels: Prelims, Mains, followed by interview or personality test.

General Studies in UPSC Prelims:-
General Studies is a major part of the UPSC IAS syllabus. Prelims and Mains both examination consist General studies papers.
In UPSC Prelims, General Studies is divided into two papers.
General studies Paper I contains 100 objective questions of 200 marks. Two hours of time is provided to solve all these questions.
