NATA Preparation Notes & Study Material
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme at architecture schools across India. Scoring 130+ in NATA requires simultaneous strength in drawing, cognitive abilities, and general aptitude.

Drawing Test: 2D and 3D composition, object drawing, memory drawing, perspective drawing, colour application — technique notes with reference examples and practice sheets
PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics): Class 11–12 level content for the scientific aptitude and mathematics portions of the test
General Aptitude: Architectural awareness, common aptitude (verbal, numerical, logical), understanding of basic architectural concepts and elements
Architectural Awareness: Famous Indian and global buildings, prominent architects, architectural movements, building materials, construction basics
Visual Thinking: Pattern recognition, spatial visualisation, 3D folding and unfolding, shadow projection — for the cognitive aptitude section
